Israel was found outside the LCV gate on July 22, 2006. The doctors immediately noticed he had a bluish color and suspected heart problems. It was later discovered that Israel suffers with a heart cushion defect, single ventricle, nearly single atrium, subpulminary aortic stenosis and mitrial valve atresia. Despite all of these complications, he is a happy, active little boy who seems to have taken a special liking to foreigners.
