There are a number of positions open for staff on-site at Shepherd’s Field. Come and work (paid) or volunteer long-term for one year or more and experience China in a new way. Long-term volunteers raise their own support, but the life-changing experience is priceless. - Educational Director – We are in need of a strong, caring, individual with leaderships skills who can oversee the educational programming at SFCV including the Little Lambs school and the 7-Acres Vocational Training School. This individual would serve as the principal for all educational programs and includes managing teachers and overseeing curriculum as we strive to provide high quality education and training to all our children.
- Vocational Teaching Staff – Are you a teacher who is looking to improve the lives of children, while enriching your own? There are several openings for bilingual, experienced, kind-hearted individuals to join our 7-Acres Vocational School team, to help train and equip young adults with essential life skills. The Vocational School educators work closely with our Little Lambs School teachers and the Therapy team, directly under the Educational Director, as we collaborate to provide a well-rounded education. Do you have a special skill or talent you’d like to share?
- Therapists – Our Bright Star’s Therapy Program has an immediate need for an Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Behavioral Therapist to join our team. Pediatric experience is preferred. We need trained therapists (PT, OT, SLP/T, ABA, PTA, COTA and AT) who are detail-oriented, caring and confident – to join our Team in Spring 2019! Are you, or someone you know looking to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs, using your education and career skillset? We’re looking for qualified therapists to join our team, to treat and enable not only those in our care at Shepherd’s Field, but also provide training and resources to orphanage partners throughout China.
- IT/Tech – We are looking for an experienced IT guy or gal who can help oversee all the tech on the campus of SFCV. This includes: diagnostics and problem solving for internet, maintenance for campus computers (mac and PC), data server, as well as the computer lab in the Little Lambs school. Ideally, we want a 1 year minimum commitment.
